Data Retention

Inaccuracy and violation reports

When you submit a report through the Platform, we process the reason and text you provide, information about the item reported and the page from which you submitted it, your account information if you are signed in, the interface language, and information about how the report is handled.

To limit abuse and duplicate submissions, we also use limited account, browser, and network data.

We use this data to receive and investigate a report, verify and where appropriate correct information, keep the Platform safe, limit spam and duplicates, enforce the Terms, comply with legal obligations, and establish, exercise, or defend legal claims. Depending on the circumstances, processing is based on the action you requested, the legitimate interests of Rentix and its users, a legal obligation, or the need to protect legal rights.

Report data is available only to authorized personnel and, to the extent necessary, service providers that help us operate and secure the Platform.

An open report is retained for as long as needed to assess it. After closure, report data is retained for three years after the report is closed to document handling, prevent abuse, and protect legal claims. It is deleted earlier if the law requires and kept longer only when required by law or for a specific legal claim; access remains restricted during that period.

Do not include unnecessary personal data, identity documents, medical information, or information about other people in free text. If your matter requires a reply, documents, or another channel, use the Contacts page or email support@rentix.md.

International Transfers

Your information may be transferred and processed in countries other than Moldova.
Where applicable law requires it, international transfers use the legal grounds and safeguards provided by that law.

Google

This site is protected by reCAPTCHA and the Google Privacy Policy and Terms of Service apply.

OpenAI

To improve the quality of our service and automate certain functions, we use the ChatGPT artificial intelligence technology provided by OpenAI.

In certain cases, the user description, property description, and text-based search queries may be temporarily transmitted to OpenAI's servers as input data for the purpose of generating responses, recommendations, or suggestions.

This processing is carried out under this Policy and applicable requirements. We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures based on the nature of the transmitted data and the risks.

Policy Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We communicate material changes where the law requires it or where a separate notice is appropriate given the nature of the change.

A new version applies from the date stated in it. Where processing requires separate consent, continued use alone does not replace that consent.
